Food policy defines the parameters of our government feeding programs. MAHN stimulates action that advocates for sound food policy by:

• Featuring food policy news and information in the quarterly newsletter
• Developing tools to educate pantry staff, volunteers, participants, and organization leadership on the importance of advocating
• Promoting calls to action through MAHN's Food Policy Action Alert Network
